What exists everywhere?
A student from the U.S. has been practicing a speech in Japanese, and in his manuscript, he says, "Democracy is not like gravity or oxygen. It's not everywhere...."
This expression impressed me. In Japanese, we use "air" instead of "gravity or oxygen." I wonder how you would describe in other countries something that you are not usually aware of, but that you would be very uncomfortable without?
