infamous

in jail

I sometimes pretend to be my students' boss, and we practice communicating politely in Japanese with the boss(me) in this way. One day, I tried to do that with a student for the first time. He said his boss was very famous in his country. I was intrigued, and aked what great achievement the boss had made. But he said that his superior became infamous for his harrassments of a lot of women around him, and now he is in jail. What a matter! I had been prepared to pretend to be the person, but was thrown into confusion by this revelation.
